Rain

Its raining in Bangalore. Rain in Bangalore is as un-predictable as a output of Rainy day test scenario in software :-)I love rain. Do not know the reason behind the love for rain May be because

1. I am from Malnad

2. I love fresh clean green leaves on tree

3. I love the aroma of the mud after first few drops of rain

4. Sound makes me feel relaxed

5. I used to get holiday during my school days because of heavy rain( may be I still have a hope holiday declared for my company because of rain and no need to compensate on Saturday :-) )

or because of some beautiful quotes like below?

1. Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear?

2.I love walking in the rain, 'cause then no-one knows I'm crying

3.Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain
Whatever is the reason I simply love rain

Finally Finished Reading "A Beautiful Mind"

This is a Heavy book in terms of content and pages.But Font is very small!.
This is the book I took long time to finish.Started in 2008 and completed in 2009. Not sure if author took that Much time in writing the Novel :-).

Must say nicely written book.

If anybody wants to be Genius read this book before you pray!

There are times when I hated(in the beginning of the book) "John Nash" for his behavior. But at the end I do feel sorry for what all he went through.
This book is a Best Example for "Too Much is Too bad".

Around the world in 80 days

This is a book by "Jules Verne".
This book begins with Mr. Fogg having a bet with his club friends that 80 days is enough to go around the world. This tour is taken when Indian's were ruled by British. So only means of travel is Ship/Train.According to the bet Mr Fogg doesn't have to see all the places, just need to land on the country's agreed upon.
Author has narrated what Mr Fogg goes through in his tour very nicely. Its a small book(That's the reason I have completed this and still reading "A Beautiful Mind") and good reading.

Nadal winning everywhere

French Open Final Federror lost to Nadal in straight set and Nadal proved he is the King of Rolandgarros. I thought Federror will take the revenge at Wimbledon. But Nadal has shined there too. No doubt he has improved a lot. Along with that he has power.But Federror is still the No 1. He is badly in need of few titles to maintain the position. Nadal has decided to take some rest. May be Federror should take advantage :-)

Innovative Film City

Innovative Film City. This is located near Bidadi.It is not completely functional. It still under construction.
We reached around 10.45am and then waited for Entry tickets(Corporate). We were welcomed with "Fanta". We had tickets for 9 different shows/rides.
We started with "WAX museum". Few are really good, no need to read the names hanged next, you can find who they are. Few even with name I couldn't make out who they are. That's probably because of the vast knowledge I have about people :-).

Next was "Ripley's Believe It or not. It’s a good place to spend some hours. Few videos of “Ripley's Believe it or not” is played, few unbelievable pictures can be found there. Unbelievable models are also present.

We are finally in Most awaited "4D -theatre". We got our glasses and found a seat for our self. It was a wonderful experience. I guess its 20 minutes show and its worth the money and time.

Its 1.30Pm, and time to fill stomach. Lunch was arranged for us. We had good food. It would have been ideal to sleep on the beautifully maintained lawn. But we were asked to join at Main entrance at 6pm. so not much time left to complete all the left over shows/rides.

We entered "Mirror Maze" It’s a dark room. Its difficult to find where is the mirror and where is the way. But we were lucky to find the way out easily. This is good one too.

Then we entered fossil museum and Dino world related to Dinosaurs. I am surprised to see so many things are collected from different parts of the world. Dino world is not must see place.

"Cartoon City” I Expected to have some cartoon related stuff. Surprisingly these are the rides :-). There is a funny ride, I guess they call it "water shooting". I was watching others taking that ride. With the seriousness they were shooting the water, for moment I thought they are guiding the satellite to the right orbit!!.

We had got tickets for "family go karting" so handed steering to Mr Husband and sat looking at the surrounding. This is not as fast as the Individual one. This is like a small car. So who drive car will not enjoy much.

Finally we are in Aqua Kingdom. You will see Beach is now in Bangalore. I find it to be a good place to learn swimming. Don't be careless tides are also seen once in a while.
Tried little bit to learn swimming, but no luck. Better luck next time Smitha was the voice I heard.

It was 5pm and time to pack up.
Day came to end, no regret of traveling almost 40km to reach the place. Few more things should be functional soon. We Banglore janta now have one more weekend spot.
People who have been to "Film city" in other country feel there is nothing related to "making Film" here. I am not sure if it’s going to come in future also. But people like me who have seen only Ramoji Film City enjoyed this.

Thousand splendid Suns

Completed reading "Thousand Splendid sun's".Its Story of Mariam and Laila.This is probably story of most of the women in Afghanistan.It's a beautifully narrated sad story. This book focuses on Mother daughter relationship and friendship between women.I enjoyed reading the book with continuously shedding tears!!
Must say Khaled Hosseini is wonderful Story writer. Great Surprise of this Book is, to know man can Understand women's feelings!!.

French Open

French Open is back again, But Queen of Rolandgarros Justine Henin bid Good Bye to Tennis.
This year our own Sania is not playing too. Surely Rolandgarros will miss Sania' s beautiful smile.
Last year while following Tennis I started Liking Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic. Otherwise I would have left with no one to support in Women's Tennis :D.
we will soon see new No 1. Ana is going to climb the ladder to reach No.1.
Just waiting to watch Ana win!!! the finals on Saturday 7th June 2008.
Who will win Men's Single Need to wait till 8th.
